Andrea is a highly experienced Physiotherapist with over 20 years’ experience within the private sector, healthcare and sports industry. She holds several qualifications including a MSc in Advanced Practice in Physiotherapy, a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Medicine and Exercise, and a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.
Andrea has also completed a wide variety of physiotherapy training to enable her to offer a range of treatments. She has been teaching Pilates classes for over 10 years and has completed extensive Pilates training in many areas including antenatal and postnatal, equipment with the bands and balls and pilates for cyclists and golf. She is also a fully Certified APPI Reformer instructor and runs regular small group and 1-1 reformer sessions in the Hillsborough Reformer Pilates clinic.
Andrea has worked for many years as a sports physio for various sports teams and is a keen sportswoman herself and enjoys cycling, running & tennis along with her Pilates training. Andrea is extremely passionate about Pilates, specifically the positive impact that it has on your health and wellbeing.
Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor
Kerry is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. She has been working within the South Eastern Trust for over two years, gaining experience across A&E, inpatient wards, fracture clinic and orthopaedics, paediatrics
She enjoys using her Physiotherapy knowledge and skills within Pilates classes to adapt exercises for maximum benefit. She loves interacting with the class and helping our patients grow in confidence through exercise. Kerry can see the benefit Pilates has on participants and will often refer patients to use Pilates exercises within her daily job
as a physiotherapist.
Kerry has a keen interest in sports injury and rehabilitation through her participation in tennis and hockey, she is also qualified in kinesiology taping.
Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor
Ally graduated from the University of Ulster with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. She is a keen sportsperson actively involved with her local hockey club, where she has been involved both as a player and as a coach.
After surgery for an injury, Ally started attending our classes to help with her rehab and this sparked a love for all things Pilates! She is APPI trained, having attended numerous training courses with them, such as Matwork 1 and 2 and Pilates with the Small Equipment course.

Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance
Anita first came to Pilates as an aid to her ballet training and after a few sessions was completely hooked. After training to Advanced 2 level in ballet with the Royal Academy of Dance she completed the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies with the RAD in London.
Anita lived and taught ballet in Toronto, Canada for 2 years. During this time, Anita took Pilates classes at the Stott Pilates Corporate Training Centre, and then began her instructor training in Matwork and Reformer. After successfully taking the certification exam she became a Certified Instructor.
Since returning to Northern Ireland, Anita has been teaching mat and reformer classes for the past three years. She has completed further Pilates training including pre and post natal. She enjoys teaching Pilates and seeing the benefits it brings to people of all ages and from all walks of life; giving them better posture, more body awareness and ease of movement
Sports Massage therapist
Aaron is an experienced Sports massage therapist having worked for over six years. He trained in Sports Massage following his training in Sports and Media at University in Liverpool....
He comes from a triathlon background and has a love of all things football. He works with Northern Ireland at age grade level and also Glenavon FC on a weekly basis.
Along with the footballers and triathletes competing at the top level, Aaron also works on a number of other international athletes from badminton, tennis, bowling, hockey, waterpolo and athletics.
Sports massage however is not just for elite athletes, it is for everyone who likes to keep fit and actually a lot of his work is with clients who are simply sat at a desk all day and experience tightness around the shoulders, neck and back.
We are looking forward to him getting started helping our clients at All Active Pilates and Physio and providing a sports massage clinic to compliment our current treatments and classes.
