Physio Flow Pilates

A gentle, flowing Physio led Pilates class suitable for all, including those less mobile and a great place to start if you are a a complete beginner. The controlled pace is perfect for those recovering from pain or injury and exercises can be modified by the instructor who is an experienced Physiotherapist.

 

You will get to grips with the basics of Pilates and enjoy a mix of flowing movements that will improve strength, balance, flexibility and mobility.

 

Different Pilates props are used to provide both support and optional challenges to ensure an enjoyable and varied class each week.

Physio Active Pilates

Focusing on core strength and spinal alignment using a series of Pilates movements that will

actively strengthen and condition your body.

 

Suitable for everyone, this Physio led class includes various progressions and pieces of equipment that will enable you to work at your own level and help you build strength in the glutes, abdominals, upper and lower body with a focus on control and precision.

 

Benefits include better posture and a healthy spine as well as overall general conditioning for a healthy and active lifestyle.

Physio Fit Pilates

A more energetic Physio led Pilates class for those with Pilates experience who love to be challenged.

 

Expect a mix of strong movements to build strength together with flowing moves that will improve flexibility, mobility and balance. Additional benefits include better posture, co-ordination and control which will help to prevent injury especially for those who play sport or work at a desk based job.

 

A range of Pilates props are used to ensure classes are varied, enjoyable and effective.  These classes are perfect to compliment an active and healthy lifestyle.

Online Pilates

Our live online Physio led Pilates sessions are via Zoom on

Mondays 10am.  

 

 

These sessions are mixed ability (Physio Active) suitable for beginners but with harder options shown for those who like a harder level of challange.

 

These sessions offer lots of verbal cues to enure you carry out the exercises correctly with modifications offered if you have pain or injury

Mens core & stretch 

A fun class for men wanting to improve their mobility, flexibility and conditioning. The class is physio led and exercises can be modified if any issues, pain or injury…

 

Expect a mix of strong movements to build strength together with flowing moves that will improve flexibility, mobility and balance. Additional benefits include better posture, co-ordination and control which will help to prevent injury especially for those who play sport or work at a desk based job.

These classes are perfect to compliment an active and healthy lifestyle.

Nordic walking and Outdoor Pilates

This full-body workout exercises the upper body more than ordinary walking. It’s all because of the precise pole placement.

 

Feel that magic combination of harder workouts that feel easier.

-Poles propel you over the ground - that makes you work harder than usual BUT

-The poles also support you, making your workout feel easier.

 

As well as working on the Nordic walking technique these sessions include a mix of standing Pilates exercises that will improve strength, balance, mobility and coordination.

 

Suitable for beginners and those wishing to improve their technique this class is a fun way to enjoy exercise outdoors and meet new people.

Our classes run in 7/8 week blocks but don't worry if you have missed the start of the course.  Let us know and we will fit you in if we have availability.  We can also add you to our waiting list if classes are full

Hillsborough & Dromore

You must pre-book your place by booking online or contacting us.

Classes run in 7/8 week blocks. 

Each class lasts 50 minutes.

We recommend an initial one-to-one assessment if you have a current/recent injury.  We have a 1-1 intro offer for all new clients  - single session £45/ 3 sesssions £129

When booking a class you will be required to create an account with a username and password and complete an online registration form.

Make up sessions - if you miss a class we can offer you another class time within the same course (subject to availability).  Read our make up policy here

Fabulous classes.

Andrea provides us with a varied programme and a different piece of equipment each week.  All set to challenge our individual abilities.  There are always different levels to each exercise which Andrea will demonstrate to the class.

Andrea will walk around the room,  gently manoeuvring us into the correct position if necessary.

I come away from the classes relaxed, stretched and enjoy a better nights sleep that evening.

I have just finished my first block of sessions, now started another set, and I have already noticed a big difference with my back pain. Andrea ensures that you are performing all the moves correctly and at your own pace. I find it very relaxing and enjoy each of the sessions which are always varied with different types of apparatus. Highly recommend the classes .
